Romania: Cluj Crusaders Win Against Timisoara 89ers

American football team, Cluj Crusaders got another victory after defeating Timisoara 89ers team with the score 8-0. 

Game III of the Romanian National Football Championship was played on a whimsical weather in Timisoara, and included dramatic moments and lack of spectacular points, by which they are accustomed. Crusaders players, Oltean Florin and Pop Dorin left the field of play before the final, both being diagnosed with fractured collarbone. With this misfortune of the last regular season game, the two will be out of the game for at least 6 weeks.

The score was opened by the end of the second quarter by Crusaders quarterback, Paul Cîrjă, with an incredible touchdown and Alexander Iftimi managed to turn the conversion.

After the 8 points scored by Cluj Crusaders, the score remained unchanged until the final whistle of the match. The two teams will meet again in the match that will decide the national champion of this season. ROBOWL IV will be held in Cluj Arena stadium on 16 June 2013.

Also this weekend, Bucharest Rebels defeated Bucharest Warriors with 40-8 in the Romanian capital. The two teams from Bucharest will struggle for 3rd place in Cluj Arena on 15 June 2013.
