2014 is definitely the year where European players got their chance to shine and become imports. We're bringing you stories of some of these remarkable athletes!
Former teams: Seinajoki Crocodiles, London Warriors, Helsinki 69ers
In 2013, I played for Helsinki 69ers although it was a tough season the organization from the board to the players did everything possible to make you welcome, great city and great team.
I was exposed to the sport later than most and I'm always looking to improve that's why after speaking to the Razorbacks I made the easy decision to sign for them, the organization sounds similar to the one I left in the UK (The London Warriors) a championship caliber team which are focused driven and not afraid of hard work. I look forward to joining my new team-mates for the 2014 season.
Strahinja Stepovic - WR/QB - Orebro Black Knights, Sweden
Former teams: Kraljevo Royal Crowns - Serbia, Osnabruck Tigers - Germany
I can't point any major differences between my last season team, and Orebro, but my goal is to play high level football.
I think that Division 1 in Sweden is on a higher level than GFL2, That's why I chose Black Knights.

Pierre Trochet - OL - Danube Dragons, Austria
Former team: Amiens Spartiates
I moved in Austria to play better football than France and I joined my girlfriend, she is Austrian. I'm exceptionally not an import for the league I'm pretty much like an Austrian.
I choose the Dragons because they host me very well and i had a great understanding with coach Zivko who is now a friend.
